I am a mother to five children ages 26, 24, 10, 7, and 4. The younger two are adopted from China. I have two one year old grandsons as well. I live in a small town which is a suburb of Birmingham, AL. I previously worked as a social worker but now stay home with my children. I homeschool so we will use the postcards to learn geography. We have a world map on the wall in our classroom and when a card arrives we immediately locate the country! It is so much fun for my six year old. We have two family pets - Trixie, Shih Tzu, and Gary, Poodle. We are active in the Catholic church.
I welcome ANY postcards but would love cards which depict life in your part of the world, historical sites, or anything of interest. If you have any child related cards my girls would love to see those as well. I would also love any postcards of Catholic Cathedrals, Churches, etc.
I am very interested in direct swaps especially with postcrossing members from The People's Republic of China. My daughters are from Guangdong Province and Hunan Province. I would love postcards from those areas.
