Thank you for taking a look at my profile.

If you need a little hint of what kind of postcards to send, here's a short love-list:

- owls, foxes, mooses, lynxes
- moomins
- Inge Löök art (I hope that one day I will be able to show a collection of them to my grandmother :)
- Anna Hollerer cats
- gargoyles
- mythological creatures
- Japanese (Chinese, Korean) ink paintings / traditional art
- hippie cars / buses
- cards about human rights and tolerance (in hopes that one day I will be able to make an exhibition of them in my home country)

...or, you can take a look at my favourites wall to get a feel of what postcards I prefer (warning: some of them are the ones I've received)

However, I know that such postcards can be hard to find, so just send me a postcard that YOU like :) I'm not picky, so I will enjoy anything you choose to send me :)

***LANGUAGES***

~ LITHUANIAN is my native language (labai laukiu atvirukų iš Lietuvos :>)
~ ENGLISH is my everyday language
~ Jeg læser DANSK, og jeg kan forstå det godt
~ Ich habe lernt DEUTSCH im Schule, aber ich kann nicht gut Deutch sprechen. Ihr könnt mir auf Deutch schreiben, damit ich kann die Sprache erinnern :)
~ Japanese (NIHONGO). I have leant this language for half a year, many years ago. I can only read Hiragana and Katakana. To understand, I have to use a dictionary and my notebook a lot. If you can write me in simple Japanese, I would be very grateful. Arigatou!
~ ESPERANTO. I've wanted to learn this language since I was a little child, when I found an article about it in my parents' old science magazines. However, I never got a chance. I don't know how well it would work using postcards and internet resources, but I am willing to try! :)

***About me***

I am Lithuanian girl who is living in Denmark now. I'm 25 years old, but I think I'll feel like 18 forever :)
I am a person of great contrasts. I am afraid of people and social contacts, but here I am on Postcrossing :) I also study hospitality (hotels, camping, travelling), so I on my own will chose to be among people. When it comes to music, I enjoy classic and metal equally. Also rock, gothic, industrial, drum and bass, folk... silence as well.
I like being in nature. I like books. I am quite geeky and have a weird sense of humour. I like art and people that make you wonder.
I have two cats. One is with me, he's orange and his name is Aksel. The other one is named Pankė (the punk :)) and she lives with my parents. I saved her from an animal shelter on my 20th birthday.
