About Sasha...

Hello!
My name is Sasha. I was born in Saint Petersburg and I Iive there. I study Earth Sciences at the university.
I love the time it gives me to learn new things, take up new interests and pursue my hobbies. I love art and like to sketch and paint in my spare time. I collect old photos (stereophotography), postcards and semiprecious stones. My main hobby is reading. I especially like books written by people all over the world. My favorite writers is George Orwell, Jack London, Leonid Andreyev and Mikhail Bulgakov. Also I admire Maeterlinck's works. I love everything what to pertain the first half of the 20th eyelid. This way, if your postcard will be somehow connected to the 1900-1940's, I will be really happy.
I would be pleased to receive any postcards on your choice. But especially to me are valuable:
• Lavender
• Gemstones, minerals
• Alfons Mucha
• Whales, sharks and jellyfishes
• Natural phenomenons (volcanic eruption, thunderstorm, tempest, northern light, fog etc)
• Icebergs
• Cactus
• Parrots (especially the cockatiel)
• Maps and everything that close to geography
• Chipmunks, squirrels
• Stained-glass windows
• Pictures of your town
• Vintage
• Art reproductions (impressionism, Art Deco or your own favorite style/painter)
• Penguins

It will be nice if you write something about your daily life, dreams, plans, things you like, your favourite music, artwork and the reason why you like it. Please recommend authors and books from your country to me. I'm very interested in learning about new books.
If you don't know what to write, tell me about what you can see out of your window, or draw me any picture~

Please do not send cards related to religion, advertisement and multi-view tourist cards.
