About Anna...

Handwritten cards and letters have special values for me. I think they are very romantic, warm, and personal, and also highly meaningful especially in this era of social networking.

I cherish any cards, but if you can send me the following cards, that would be fantastic!

✔ Food and drinks, including recipes
✔ Anne Taintor
✔ Alphonse Mucha's art
✔ Religious themes. Any religion is welcome :)
✔ Paintings. Including calligraphy, Egyptian hieroglyphs, religious icons from Orthodox or Eastern Catholic traditions
✔ Traditional costumes
✔ Maps, maps, maps!!!
✔ Gotochi cards
✔ Castles, palaces, historical monuments
✔ Writings in non-Latin alphabets (Chinese, Russian, Greek, Hindi, etc)
✔ National symbols, coats of arms, flags
✔ Stained glass windows
✔ "Official" postcards = cards that bear official logos from an event or an organization, like the Olympics, FIFA, WWF, UNICEF, etc.

Cartoons that I really like:
✔ Tintin, from Belgium
✔ Doraemon, from Japan
✔ Sailormoon, from Japan
✔ Disney characters from the classics movies, including the legendary trio Mickey-Donald-Goofy

If you are from Egypt, I really really LOVE ancient Egyptian paintings/hieroglyphics... you know, the one they did on papyrus... so I'd certainly love to get cards with that!

If you are from Spain/Spanish-speaking countries or speak Spanish, do write your postcards in Spanish, because I'm learning it and want to be fluent in it! :)

I don't mind lengthy text; go ahead and tell me about yourself, where you live, your hobbies, about the postcard itself... etc.

I prefer my cards stamped and postmarked, so don't put them in an envelope.

Terima kasih ("thank you" in Indonesian), and happy postcrossing!
