About Zara_Ravenheart...

Hey I'm a Brit teen but I've been living in Washington DC for just over a year!

My mother is Spanish, so I'm fluent too. I have studied French for 6 years and love it!

I adore the Lord of the Rings, and I can write a little in Elvish, thanks to the Arwen Undomiel website :)

I like discovering beauty in unlikely places, and puzzling for ages over the right words to choose to describe it. I also believe in the Japanese idea of Furyu- fleeting beauty.

I would like postcards with photos of:
*famous monuments, fountains, statues, buildings from your country or area, preferably aerial view, at night or in the snow. Don't mind multiview
*nature, especially rivers, waterfalls, trees (especially in autumn/winter) and native animals.
*the Zoo in your city/capital of your country
*traditional costumes, art, festivals etc from your country
*Romantic/historical postcards related to your country

*I don't mind ad cards but I prefer the above
*preferably no paintings, except for some collage/pop art

If you can't think of anything to write, tell me what your favourite films, singers, directors, colours, food etc are.

If you speak a language I haven't listed, please write something in it and then translate it. If the language has a different alphabet, please also write it phonetically :)

I'm happy to swap, especially with people who live near/have been to famous places of natural beauty eg Himalayas, Tibet, Uluru (Ayers Rock), or Pamukkale (Turkey). :D

Happy Postcrossing!
