About Chantal...
Hey, I'm Chantal, 24 years old and studying Communication in Leeuwarden, in the top of Holland. Or North-West Europe, what you most like! I live together with my boyfriend in Groningen because that's the best Dutch city for me ;)
I work in a store, like to watch basketball games (Gasterra Flames Groningen), want to pick up cycle racing again, want to get my drivers licence for a motorbike this year..
This year we want to travel to Sweden. We do not have a route yet so maybe you can convince us why we should visit your country or city on our route from the Netherlands to Sweden.
I've been to Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Greece, Turkey and Indonesia. Ofcourse Bali (Indonesia) was beautiful but it was terrible to see al the trash in the nature. A beautiful view and when you watched downside you saw al the plastic. In Holland you should throw you garbage in a garbage can. I heard you can go to jail in Singapore, if your put your chewinggum on the ground. Heavy but probably usefull!
Things I like to receive for your inspiration, to make it easy:
- other cultures
- typical things of your country especialy kid-things
- cartoons or stories
- pin up girls
- retro
- masques, mystical
- architecture
- Volkswagen T1 or T2 (vintage van)
- old advertisements
- basketbal
- geometric
- pirates (Captain Jack Sparrow ♥)
- macro photography
- northern light
- events
- black/white photography
- bright colours
But every postcard will be okay!! I like to write a lot a things on a card. And I also like to receive card which are fully written! Tell something about you, your country, a receipt, something in your own language (a translation in English would be fine) something about any history. About the news? It really doesn't matter! :D Express yourself, if you like you also can draw! Maybe it's nice to write something (your/my name for example) in another alphabet like the normal latin when you use it at your language. So with Japanese characters or the Cyrilic things!
If you think I forgot to register your card (after a reasonable time) don't hesitate to ask me if I received your card. Sometimes I'm a bit chaotic and I put the card on a very IMPORTANT place so I can't forget to register it.. You probably understands what happens then ;) But a reasonable time so don't expect your cards in a few days at my house. It can be fast (like a card from Taiwan in 4 days, WOW) but sometimes you have to blame the mailman and not me :)
Happy postcrossing and take care!
