Hello,

My name is Sandra, I'm 45, married and mother of 2 sons, 18 and 15 years old.
I live in Hilversum, a town nearby Amsterdam. The town is famous for the many broadcasting studio's of the Dutch TV. When the weather is fine in the weekend, I like to cycle or walk in the surrounding nature, which is very diverse: woods, meadows, heath and canals.
I work parttime as a medical secretary. I have many interesses: playing music, reading books, cooking (and to watch cooking programs now and then), a bit of gardening, genealogy, history, learning foreign languages, collecting stamps, seeing movies.
My main hobby at the moment is to play flügelhorn. My sons play euphonium and altosaxophone. We all participate in the same wing band, which is very awsome!

I think it's great to receive cards from all kind of people, living on their own little spot on this big globe. Especially when the writer does write something personal on the card.
It would be great if you can send your card in an envelope, when it's sent from another continent. I regret it, when a card arrives terribly damaged. With an envelope, it stays fine.
I also like to collect the envelopes, especially when there are beautifull stamps and postmarks on it.

Voor Nederlandse postcrossers: een kaartje met 'Groeten uit...' vind ik erg leuk, want ik verzamel al ruim 30 jaar ansichtkaarten van Nederland. Ik heb er al heel wat, maar ik ben met elke nieuwe kaart blij, want een dubbele zit er zelden bij (rijmt ook nog) ;D
