FEEL FREE TO LEAVE THE UNINTERESTING PARTS OF THIS UNREAD. This is just me babbling... stuff.
I'm 25 years old. I love animals (and absolutely hate people who treat them with cruelty). At the moment I have three dogs, three cats and two bunnies. (That is one of my dogs in my avatar. Isn't she adorable! Her name is Mimmi.) They are very important to me, and I try spend a lot of my free time with them.
I like to read (Stephenie Meyer's Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse (--> I love Edward Cullen!) and Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy are my favourites). I also like to watch TV.. (Can not miss Prison break, Twin Peaks, Angel, Desparate Housewives, Oz, Lost, Fullmetal Alchemist, Dexter or even Supernatural for example.) And my collection of movies is big... Lord of the Rings -movies, Matrix -movies, Pirates of the Caribbean -movies, The Transporter, Snatch, Fight Club, Face Off, Titanic, Shallow Grave, Girl interrupted, Heathers.. And many more. x)
Got to mention manga and anime as my interests. (Silver Fang, Wolf's Rain, Bleach, InuYasha, Fullmetal Alchemist, My neighbour Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle..!)
Finland is, I think, famous (?) for it's forests and is known (again: ?) as the country of thousands lakes... The nature here is still mostly pure. Our largest wild animals here are bears, elks and wolves. Summers are warm (and my favourite time of the year) and winters are cold with lots of snow. (Or at least they used to be... *sigh*) Springs are lovely and Autumns are colourful.
I live on the countryside. I work in a city, but don't want to move there. I like it here, the peacefulness. I've travelled in Europe a bit, but would love to travel more.
ABOUT THE POSTCARDS:
I'd like to receive cards with some nice scenery from your country/place, some animals that live there, or a tourist attraction, and tell me something about them. I love nature and wild animal cards. Or if you can send me a card about some of my favourite tv-shows, books, or anime/manga characters, I'd be glad.
If you have an idea for a card, be my guest and send it. So the card can actually be pretty much about anything!
It'd be nice if you'd write a little something about your country or maybe teach me a few words of your own language (a phrase perhaps), if it's not English.
It would also be very interesting to know what things you know about Finland or about Finnish people! ;)
But again, pretty much everything you want to tell is fine by me. If you'd like to write about a papercut you got or about your favourite food or about your dogs tricks... It's fine. I hope you'll have fun writing the card! :)
