Hello World,
I am interested in postcards of trees, ethnic dress, local people, history, art (not abstract), archaeology, vintage postcards, old houses, people and their homes, horses and antiques. Please try not to send over-sized cards as they do not fit in my album. I prefer real photo cards (rppc).
If you are in Japan...I LOVE Japanese art.
If you are anywhere near China...I LOVE Tang horses.
I have a dachshund, a basset hound and a cat. All are rescued. I love horses and have ridden across the State of Michigan. I have owned a Tennessee Walker, Appaloosa and a Quarter Horse. I have back-packed and survived Isle Royale in Lake Superior. I have also back-packed on North and South Manitou Islands in Lake Michigan. One of my favorite memories is participating in an archaeological dig for Earth Watch in Winchester, England looking for King Alfred (we didn't find him). I have also been a volunteer for the U.S. Forest Service on other archaeological digs. I collect vintage and antique postcards too. I have 3 grown children who are wonderful human beings.
I have recently retired and devote much time to my shop called WarmWeenies on Etsy.com where I sell handmade dog sweaters and harnesses for dachshunds.
