Hi everyone (^-^)//

This is for my younger sister, her name is Mod.

Mod is 23 years old and after graduated from a university, she felt that somehow and in some way, life overwhelmed her. She decided to leave everything behind and became a nun in a remote and quiet temple. She mostly remain in silent and stays in solitude and does not reply to anybody. While I respect her decision and wish her all the best for her quest to live there. However, as an older sister of us who lost our mother at young age I felt the need being a big sister I always was and trying to be there for her and do whatever I can to care for her. Therefore, letters and postcard is a way to be in touch with her and give her space while she still connects with others.

I wish to use postcrossing for her to see and hear about the world. I want to give her a journey through each postcard, going places she's never been and hearing stories from many people. I hope the random act of kindness from people here will give her a new outlook on life and help her see the sunny side of it. I hope one day she will find what she's looking for and return to family, friends ... all those people who loves and care for her.

About Mod, she's a very diligent person. She graduated from social work faculty. She used to search for happiness and studied a lot about the topic. She enjoys reading books especially mysteries like Agatha Christie and Detective Conan. She likes watching films, TV series and enjoy anime very much. She loved to play with our family dogs. She's a great athlete and enjoys sports such as table-tennis, volleyball and badminton plus she's a big football fan.

Postcards will be sent to our house to register and I'll forward them to Mod and hoping that when she's ready, she will embark on another quest to explore the beauty of the world, meet with interesting people and take on an adventure that awaits her.
