About Jude...

I'm 58 years old and I've been interested in postcards since a child. Finding a personal letter or card on the doormat is always pleasing.

I am interested in photography - was slow to embrace digital but now love the immediacy of it.

I also enjoy

*reading and particularly like mooching around secondhand bookshops

*going to the theatre,cinema/watching films, live music

*researching my family history and history in general

*visiting old houses, stately homes, interesting architecture etc.

*countryside and sea - used to walk a lot more before I developed arthritis but still managing to get around OK.

Very old postcards are interesting - especially if I find them of places I've visited.

Prefer to receive s i n g l e view cards (if possible) - don't send multiviews or notelets notecards or trade

In no particular order... I like.....

*art (of any description but in particular Japanese/Chinese/Korean/Indian)

*birds / chickens

*budhas

*anything oriental / Geisha

*cemeteries

*old houses/streets - old cards in general

*tin tin and snowy

*art deco - architecture, jewellery, furniture

*royalty/crown jewels etc

*Black and white or sepia

* if you have a very old card that is written on, that's ok - you could then post in envelope to me

or
*indeed anything quirky and different

*an interesting place you can tell me about / that is maybe special to you
