About Vongsavang...

We are a family of 4: Phil, Hannah, Mia and Pailin who have decided to try postcrossing as a fun way to learn more about the world. Although English is our most comfortable language Phil speaks Thai, Hannah speaks a bit of French (**and would love to get postcards written in French, SVP!**), Mia is learning a little Spanish (and French now also), and Pailin is learning it all!

As a matter of curiosity and study, we'd like to know how you came about learning a foreign language (English, etc), if it's been challenging, and suggestions on how to inspire others to learn more languages (or if you even think it's necessary). Is a third language easier to learn once you've learned a second language?

We enjoy many activities from Karate (and other Martial Arts), to reading, painting, gardening, crafting, and Halloween/Haunted Houses.

We would love to receive postcards that reflect your interests and would love to learn something new (recipes, games, tongue twisters, riddles, phrases we wouldn't find in a travel dictionary, or animals and plants we wouldn't find in America)and if you're at a loss of what to write just tell us a little bit about your day.

We've amounted what I think is more than normal expired postcards. I'm concerned we may have an internal issue in our post system. If you've sent a postcard to us and it's gone missing it's probably hanging out with ours having a lovely party behind the mail shoot. I will register postcards as soon as I get them!
