Hello from Nevada I have lived in Las Vegas since 1979 and recently I moved to a suburb of Las Vegas called Henderson. It will be fun getting cards from cities, states and counties I have already visited and ones from cities, states and counties I hope to visit one day

Please know ANY TYPE card including advertisement cards (I love ad cards) are welcome and all will be appreciated

Interesting that almost all the ad cards I do receive are sent to me by Postcrossers who when I read their profiles very definitely do not want free ad cards sent to them.

No need to check my wall to see if I have already received the card you would like to send me. I have no problem receiving identical cards from different postcrossers I love beautiful stamps and any you use on the postcard you send are always appreciated

I love to make cards and welcome cards from Postcrossers who also love to make their own cards, or make me a card using a box you bought something in Use your imagination and suprise me and create a postcard for me from any product you buy that comes in a box that you will be throwing away If interested you can get some ideas from looking at postcards on my received postcard wall

Holiday cards (any holiday, any time of the year) cat cards(wild or domestic), butterfly cards, cards with quote's on them, recipe cards, cards from hotels you have stayed in, cards from places you have visited and enjoyed and cards showing something that you love are always especially enjoyed.

What to write on the card if you need some ideas

1) Where you bought the card you have chosen to send
If you are making me a card the store you bought the material to make the card with or the store where the box you used came from

I buy a lot of the cards I send when I travel and recently bought some beautiful cards for Postcossing in Rome,Italy and in Toledo,Spain

The Las Vegas cards I send are bought at Walgreens (drug store) Smiths (grocery store) for cards I make I shop at Hobby Lobby, Michaels.

2) How much it costs to send a postcard Airmail from your country

Airmail from the USA to any country outside the USA is $1.10, the cost was raised to $1.15 on 1/26/14

3) The strangest place you have ever bought a card

I bought a book of beautiful postcards while on a Water Taxi in Bangkok, Thailand

Longest time for a card sent by me to be registered, China 202 days

Longest card traveling to me came from the Ukraine could not even be registered because it was over 365 days old. My name was was drawn in July 2012. Not the fault of the Ukraine Postal service The postcard was delivered 11 days after the Postcrosser finally mailed it.
A close 2nd and received the day after the expired Ukraine card a card from Belarus that took 302 days to arrive.
