About Vanamo...

I am 40 years old, female and a biologist. I like many kinds of handicrafts for example making cards. I collect all kinds of things and love flea markets. I'm also interested in genealogy and I sing in a church choir. I would like to see pictures from around the world.

You can send me any card you want: it's just nice to get mail :) Don't be afraid to send me free, ad, old or used cards. I may like them very much, especially if they have something to do with the subjects I collect. I would love to get handmade cards!

I collect stamps that in some way are related to nature, sea (sea creatures, light houses etc.) or music. I also like chinese and japanise art. I'm extra glad if you are able to use these kind of stamps on your post card. But don't stress about this.

First, you don't have to go through the favourites of my post card wall. They are my favourites but I don't really expect to get them.

Especially I like cards with
- nature views (waterfalls!)
- pictures of your home place.
- any wild organisms from bacteria to wild plants and animals (especially birds and sea creatures). Both photos and art cards are ok.

Other very nice cards:
- my very special wishes: penguins, budgerigars, ladybugs, whales, strawberries, dandelion clocks or fly agaric/toadstool (Amanita muscaria)
- art of a native artist of your country
- light house, the sea, the ocean, water
- archaeology
- a Fabergé egg
- Inkognito (not Stenwall)
- alphabets
- pot/potty, outhouse, toilet
- a solitary sunflower or a field full of sun flowers
- pictures of stamps
- choirs (two or more humans or creatures singing. They have to be singing, not just standing and smiling to the camera. Humor is ok.)
- anything you think I might like

From abroad you can also send me cards I collect for my friends:
- cows (anything goes)
- artistic domestic cats (artist's name has to be found, my friends prefer no text on the picture side of the card)
