Hi! I'm Liis, living in a small but beautiful Nordic country called Estonia.
I love receiving postcards, so every single one makes me smile.
My favorite ones are:
vintage/ old/ historic/ black-white and art cards. You can check out my favorites on my postcard's wall.
I also like cards, that somehow capture the country they are sent from, showing people, simple moments from everyday life, history, architecture, landscapes, symbols etc.
My user name Vaarikasiirup means raspberry syrup :) I just like the meaning of it and it sounds beautiful in Estonian. Estonian language is very vocal, we have lots of double vocals like kuulama (listen), maasikas (strawberry), rääkima(talk) and one especially hardcore word for foreigners to pronounce: Jüriööülestõus (it's a historic event- uprising in 1343).
Besides postcards I love dogs, nature, coffee, chocolate, good books, wine, singing, baking and so on :)
