About Ulyana...

I live in Siberia, in a very big city with an amazing nature. I'm collecting beautiful stamps and postcards. For me postcrossing is "a piece of beauty from the world every day"...
I would really appreciate to get a postcard with a great view of the area you live in (city, country, state card, a map view with landmarks, traditions and customs, dances, people in national clothes, etc. presidents from USA or British Royal Family will be one of the favourites immediately) but any beautiful postcard will bring a smile to my lips :) Mmm... probably, except an ad one.

Oh, postcards with hedgehogs or Moomintroll will be really nice, I love them. I adore roses, swans, butterflies and ladybirds. Fairy tales and angels too (but please do not send me angels from the graveyards - they really make me sad). Flower fairies or any fairy tale creatures are welcome! Arthurian landmarks (King Arthur Legend) are my dream as I'm crazy about knights.
And I also love Christmas cards - probably because my birthday is on Christmas day :)

Whatever holiday is coming - all greeting cards are welcome!

I'd love to get inspired by some philosophical or inspirational cards also.
I also really like black&white cards with a splash of colour
Maybe a piece of art by Edouard Leon Cortes or Renoir...
or lovely old ladies by Ingre Look (for my cute mum) or stereo cards for my little twins

Even if you do not have anything listed above - please send me something that YOU personally find very-very beautiful. I really beleive that Beauty will save the world.

I myself love choosing postcards. I have a nice collection of postcards as I am buying them all the time especially when I'm travelling. I enjoy trying to get the right card and stamp for the right person. It makes me very happy when I have sent a postcard to someone, and it's a fave.

If you are sending a folding card - send it in an envelope, don't cut it into halves just to meet the post office requirements. I don't mind envelopes, really :) but I do mind ruining cards

I love and appreciate stamps and stickers, if you choose them with taste :)

Happy postcrossing!
