Hello,

I'm a Canadian prairie girl living in a Northern Ireland village by the sea. I've been In N. Ireland for 9 years. I have also spent two years working and living in Japan. I love to travel, though I haven't done much since I've been here, so I like to send and receive mail from other areas of the world and live vicariously through others. I like to go to new places, even if they are close by, and I enjoy trying new things when I can.

I have a 5 yr old home-educated son, and a 2.5-yr-old daughter. When my son hears the mail come through the door, he loves to race and bring me the day's mail and enjoys looking at the pictures on postcards when they arrive. I love postcards of scenic areas, cultural events, and things that are relevant to a particular area. I would like to hear about different cultures and events, and a bit about your life. I'd love to receive a your favourite recipe, I am trying to expand my culinary horizons!

We have also begun a stamp and a post-mark collection. I used to have one when I was young and found it interesting. When we receive something in the post we find the location on a map of the world and see if we can add a little culture and geography to our day.
