Hello hello,

My name is Tineke and I'm 19 years old. I live and study in Leiden, which is in the Netherlands. I study African cultures and languages, it's really interesting! At the moment I speak Dutch, English and German very well and I am learning French and (Ki)Swahili.

I have several hobbies, but my most important one is balfolk dancing. This is folk dancing, but more modern! I am really passionate about this. If you can understand Dutch, please look at www.balfolk.nl for more information!
The second thing I am passionate about is Jane Austen, I love her books and the films made about these stories. Pride and Prejudice is my favourite..
The last thing I really like is fantasy. I am a huge Harry Potterfan (have been since 2000), but I also like Lord of the Rings, The Tenth Kingdom, The Chronicles of Narnia, the books by Terry Goodkind, etc. :)

Of course I like every postcard I receive, but I would really like one with:

If you speak Swahili, please write to me in Swahili! I would love that, because I study Swahili at the moment and it would be a great way to learn more.
