About Carol...
Hello!
I am 41 years old, married to Wyatt, mother of two girls, Taylor (15) and Anjolie (10), who also have postcrossing accounts. I also have 3 cats (JackJack, Monroe and Miracle).
I have lived in Nebraska, Chicago, Orlando Florida, and here in Kansas City, but I am in Missouri, not Kansas. I do not like the cold midwest, and would love to move back to Florida someday.
Right now I work doing security at the airport (TSA). The picture is taken at my last job with my favorite horse there, Athena. I am currently in school getting a veterinary technician degree...like a nurse for animals.
I love to travel and have a huge wanderlust. I can't stay in one place too long. I love animals, of course. Movies are a big passion of mine. My favorite tv show is the Academy Awards... And I love all things Disney. I love to read also, so any good books you know of, let me know!
I always register my postcard the day it arrives, so if you have sent one to me and it's not registered yet, let me know. Expired cards really bug me...
Cards I like are:
Anything! I'm not really picky.
No envelopes! Unless it would damage the card to travel without one.
I love to see landmarks, historical buildings, landscapes, famous people of your country.
I love Kaj Stenvall! I have: The Afterglow, I Drive I Come I Stay, Drophead, Born Guilty, So What, and Good Morning.
If you're from Spain, or have visited there, I would love something showing the architecture of Antoni Gaudi.
Paris, the Eiffel tower...
Anything unusual, black & white, whatever...
Vintage cards
Movie posters
Holiday cards, especially if it is a holiday not celebrated in the US
If your card has something written on the front in your language, could you please translate? I love languages!
**I would love to know what you think is the best thing (a must see for a traveler!) about your city or country.**
Peace,
Carol
