About Eva...

Hi!

I´ve seen it in several profiles already: how people say they used to love sending letters by snailmail and how the advent of the internet changed everything. It's the same for me. So learning of the existence of postcrossing was a really nice thing!

So,... what do I (29-year old married woman, history & nature lover, reader, writer, too much of a thinker, vegetarian), especially like:
- postcards to do with writing
- postcards to do with books, like illustrations
- nature (local)
- English and Scottish postcards
- (really) old postcards, black & white cards, old photographs
- art postcards, 19th and early 20th century art, especially Turner, Caspar David Friedrich, the pre-Raephalites, impressionism, expressionism, Kees van Dongen, Klimt, Jan van Toorop, applied arts (Art Nouveau, Art Deco), Edward Hopper, ... too much to name all.

I'm open to everything! Homemade cards, the kitschy holiday snaps, art reproductions, postcards with glitter or other weird stuff attached... You name it. I am not so fond of ordinary city view postcards, cards with several views of a country or town, nor of Christmas cards.

It would be nice if you could alo tell me a bit about yourself and your country/culture. What did you do today that made you happy? Were you touched by a good book you read, or movie you saw? I am always interested in learning new things. A nice accompanying letter is also welcome.

Please put the date on the card! I prefer postcards over envelopes.

Thanks!

PS: My favourites are cards I received, not ones I would like to receive. Though similar ones are of course very welcome.
