Hey!

My name is Heli and I live in Finland. At the moment I live in Kuopio, which is a medium-sized city in Eastern Finland, surrounded by a beautiful lake called Kallavesi.
I’m working as a librarian / information services specialist focused on design and culture.

Here are some things I love:
*Metal music (ok, also some rock music), gigs + music festivals. Lots of good bands and festivals here in Finland!
*Literature (for example J.R.R. Tolkien, Douglas Adams, Neil Gaiman, H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe, Terry Pratchett, Khaled Hosseini, George R.R. Martin... to name but a few)
*Travelling. Last time I visited Scotland!
*Writing. I’ve always loved to write. I’m afraid it’s going to be difficult to fit everything I want to say to a one small postcard.
*Nature. All my life I’ve been surrounded by forests, lakes and meadows, so nature is very important to me.
*Old mythologies, different cultures, art, movies, red wines and good friends. :)

Any postcard will do, but I wish that you write me more than just one sentence. I would like to know something about You and your life - perhaps you could recommend me your favourite book? :) If possible, please send your postcard without an envelope.

If you have difficulties finding a card for me, I specially like beautiful landscapes and city views, old buildings (castles!), fantasy & gothic cards, retro style cards, cute or somehow weird cards and art cards.
But if You like it, I'm sure I will like it too.
