Hi, I'm Tessa from the Netherlands. I'm a museologist and I study History of Art.

I love fashion, New York, London, Paris, York (England), collecting things(cards, stamps, Disney comic magazines, Vogue magazine), art and visiting museums, especially art museums. An other thing that I love is drinking tea. In my free time I like to write short stories and letters/postcards, reading books & magazines, making cards,taking pictures and scrapbooking. Also I love to travel. I hope that I can make a world tour one day. Through postcrossing I can see the world!

If it's posible, I would like to receive postcards with art, cultural heritage, historical landmarks, museums, city card, tourist cards (single or multiview), fashion related, Moomin, mail/letter writing related cards, penguins, elephants, Nouvelles Images(with Paris/ Eifeltower on it), Eifeltower/ cards from Paris and cards from Mary Engelbreit. Also I'm a huge fan of The Rolling Stones and Mick Jagger. So you really would make my day if you sent me a card from them!

I collect many things. But when it comes to cards, I collect (besides touristic cards)cards from the "The Granny Series" (Fifi and Alli) by the Finnish artist Inge Löök. I just love those crazy two old ladies! Here you can find my collection of Inge Löök cards:

I like any post card, except free or add cards and cards with butterflys. It may sound silly, but I'm scared of them. If you don't know what kind of card that I would like, just check my favorites! (I haven't received all the cards that I have on my favorite wall. I have it mainly to give you an idea of the kind of cards I like, besides the typical touristic cards) :)

If you don't know what to write, you can tell me more about the museums in your town or what your favorite museum is or your best/worst/odd/special experience is with museums. Or you can tell me more about your favorite painting/pice of art. (But it's only a sugestion. I know that not everybody loves art and museums.) Or you can tell me a bit more about your country or the city where you live.

It's up to you what you want to write and/or send me! These are onlys some sugestions and things I really love! It would be great if you write the word Museum and Art in your language.

Every once in a while I upload every postcard that I've recived.
