I live in Amsterdam with man, dog and 1 abesynian cat. I am a midwife (doing research at the moment). I love traveling, good food, the cinema and dancing!
It is a real shame that sending a postcard from your holiday addres is going out of fashion: It is so much fun hunting for postcards in old sigarshops in far away towns!
I have a preference for golden oldies (postcards of course ;-) ) > I mean those nice old-fashioned boring (single view) landscapes / cityscapes which leave you wondering why on earth someone ever took photograph of the view...
The more boring the better!
For any one from France: I also love those French recipe postcards (preferably the old ones).
But in the end I am happy with everything that I receive.
The only postcards I really don't like are self made postcards (sorry) or commercial (free) postcards.
I prefer a postcard with a date and it would be nice if you could write something on the back.
