About Suzanne...
Hi there!
I've been on postcrossing for a while now and I absolutely love it. I've received amazing cards, met some wonderful people and made lots of new friends all over the world. But there’s one thing I have been struggling with ever since I started postcrossing… I'm very jealous of all the people who manage to write a wonderful, witty or cute introduction about themselves! I’m afraid I lack that skill. I never really know what to tell people about myself, but I'll try…
My name is Suzanne, I'm 22 years old and I live in the Netherlands. I'm a social work student. I'm an intern at an institution for youth with psychological and/or behavioural problems who struggle with addiction, depression or life in general. I think it's amazing and I love working there. I believe in equality, for everyone, no matter what race, religion, gender or sexual orientation people may have. I love music, it's like air to me. I always carry my ipod with me.. and a spare one in case the battery runs out! In my spare time I enjoy going to concerts or music and art festivals. I also enjoy photography, travelling, reading and watching (old) movies.
I'd love to get any kind of postcards, but if you're not sure what to send me, here are some things I would really like:
* Anything that's music related
* Quotes, poetry, lyrics or words of advice
* Vintage or black & white cards
* Human rights
* Tattoos
* Harry Potter
I also really like handmade cards. So if you make cards yourself, please don't hesitate to send
me one!
If you don't know what to write on your card could you please tell me something about your taste in music? Like what artists/bands/genres have you been listening to recently? Who's you favourite singer? Are there any bands from your country you want me to listen to? Etc. I always enjoy discovering new bands or artists, so this would really make my day :)
If you're not really into music maybe you could answer this question: What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail? I would be very grateful! But of course, this is up to you! I will be happy with every card that I receive :)
Thanks for reading! I hope you didn't get bored reading all of this!
Have a great day and take care.
- Suzanne
