I am a 40-something gal who enjoys all aspects of what Postcrossing has to offer.

One of my favorite things is feeling connected with other Postcrossers with this shared moment of receiving and sending cards. I believe Postcrossing is about the serendipity of connections of people not in amassing specific types of cards. I have gotten many wonderful cards and look forward to many more. I have also been able to see things in unique ways thanks to this ideal.

I embrace the randomness of what is sent to me. I sincerely hope you feel the same way about what I've sent to you.

I do like to see the world ~ whether it be traveling to see it physically or imagining it by reading or getting a view in my mailbox from a postcard you have sent me. The perspectives shared are insightful, fun, and inspiring. The world is a beautiful place.

Postcards, like news headlines, can be a quick snapshot of your life. Therefore, on the back, tell me your local headlines (personal or community-wide). Share whatever is on your mind in that particular moment. If not that, then sell me on why I should visit your area or share a favorite book or movie.

I live in a small, rural community with my husband and our two cats. Opal is all Siamese and Maestro is a lovable tuxedo. Both were rescues who make us laugh each and every day.

I enjoy snuggling and reading with the cats, hiking and camping with my friends, as well as going to the opera and traveling with my husband.
