Hello,
Welcome to my page! I grew up in Australia and I have now been living in Greece for years. I like travelling, drawing, sailing, riding my bike by the sea and if I can get to a class, yoga.
I would love postcards that are about where you live (town or region). So just to give you some ideas, any cards that are from where you live with any of the following themes would be great.
- landscape country/city
- a very famous landmark/historic building/place
- myth and legend, Gods and godesses, artefacts.
- cottages/palaces/interiors, food, recipes, traditional costumes, festivals (e.g Oktoberfest, Cherry blossom..), carnivals (hello rio de janeiro!)Generally, things to do where you live.
- local art, design and illustration.
- retro cards,
- transport maps, metro lines
- any event, sporting or otherwise, in your country eg. the winter/summer Olympics, world cup, tour de france, grand prix, art biennale, exhibitions etc..
- historical/political.. presidents or propaganda, cosmonauts
- go absolutely nuts with something handmade that reflects you or your surroundings
- or just surprise me with something you think is really cool, quirky, funny etc, or maybe a place/thing/event you love the most in your country or something that is really popular at present.
In short, I'm happy with just about ANYTHING from your country!
If they drop into my mailbox with interesting stamps, the date sent and something about yourself and what you're up to at that moment, even better. Share some tips about the place or what is happening at your end of the world.
Ideally, no envelopes or multiview cards.. but really if you have something great, rules are meant to be broken!
Unfortunately, I only know Greek and English, but feel free to write something in your own language if you wish.
Lovely to hear from you. Cant wait for your postcard!!
