Hej,
My name is Sonja and I live in a city in the north of the Netherlands. I work fulltime at a large homefurnishing store. And when I don't have to work I love to read (Scandianvian detectives eg), do some shopping (farmers market, home deco shops, eg), experiment with recipies from all over the world and most of all, I love to travel.
When traveling I like to see local architecture, city live and impressive nature (eg sea and lighthouses). Before leaving on a new advanture I love planning a new trip on old and new maps (are there postcards with a map on it from your neighbourhood? please send it to me!).
I started on an artclass this month and it is fun to realise that painting is so 'zen' to me!

My first postcard I've send has arived. Love it! Knowing the
card you send reached it's destination is almost as fun as receiving a postcard myself....

What a pleasure to receive postcards from al over the world; From places I would like to visit! I love postcrossing.
By the way, my first project in the artclass is finished. I painted a happy elephant. I'll start on a new project: painting a sea, clouds and a lighthouse in front. (Now it is my avatar!)

A nice idea I've read at someones profile:
cut a local cereal (or coffee, tea, rice, etc) cardboard box in a 10x15 square and send it to me as a postcard!! I'm very interrested in packaging.
Please, give me a look into your local supermarket!

Hej,
I have received a 100 postcards!! I seriously have to think about what to do with all these little gifts. They are now standing in a vase on my diningtable. Every once in a while I'll go through them and read the text or sort the pictures.
