About Sonja...

I live in a nice, little sleepy village near the Alps. I love living in Bavaria. I am married, and do have two cats. Holly came from a shelter in Romania, Rowan is from an animal shelter in Spain. Both are very cute and love to go out. Holly suffered a brain trauma and the resulting ataxie but she is still very happy and active and loves to go into the garden.

To speak like my favourite comic "Mutts": ADOPT ANIMALS!

Thanks to my English husband I became a fan of American Football. Even his team is San Francico 49ers, my favourite team are the New Orleans Saints. Couple of seasons ago (2009/2010) they won the SUPER BOWL!! Jiiippieeh!

I am kind of a sports bum. I like to run anf do so a lot. That means I am running three times a week, during the week about 5 km and on the weekend - when I have more time - I run about 15 km. I also do pilates and yoga and do a lot of cycling. I also do kickboxing. I would appreciate to get postcards with those kind of sport-themes.

But I am happy with all kind of tourist postcards and I am always happy to find new penpals as well. I am very chatty and I always have a lot to say/write. So just make a note on your postcard and I'll write back!

For all the Americans out there: A postcard with one of the big teams' football stadium would be great, but it's not a must of course! Just something to make my day! :-)

But honestly, I grew to love all postcards with all sorts of stadiums on it: soccer, Olympia, baseball, you name it. If it is a stadium, I am happy.

Oh, and shoes...I love shoes! I can't even tell you, how many pairs of high heels I own. What can I say? A woman never has enough shoes! :)

Unfortunately I do have lots and lots of expired postcards. What happened to all those people? Are they dead?! I am afraid some receiver didn't like what they've received and in other cases the postcards just got lost. It's depressing to know that my efforts were in vain. I use to keep track on the lost postcards but I gave up this effort. It's not really worth the time. But I do hope from the bottom of my dark heart that YOUR postcard will reach me so I won't become another blind spot on someone's "Sent Postcards" history!

Thank you for reading through my profile!
