About Lorna...
***1st May 2013. I shall be going into hospital soon for a hip replacement so I have made my account temporarily inactive. If you have sent me a card recently I shall not be able to register it until I'm out of hospital and feeling up to it. I hope you understand? Stay happy, Lorna***
Hi, I'm 40 years old but I'm still a big kid really. Married to a train driver and we have two kitties called Georgie and Parsnip. We live in Plymouth which is a city on the south west coast of England in Devon.
Very keen on Geocaching. If you haven't heard of it, you should give it a try. Go to the website; geocaching.com and it will explain all. It's a lot of fun and is just like a massive worldwide treasure hunt! I also enjoy walking, exploring castles, baking cakes, reading and knitting. In fact I think I'm addicted to knitting! I just learnt to crochet too so bring on the granny blankets!... Oh, and I do enjoy the odd glass of wine *hic* ;-)

Anything weird and wonderful or even naughty!
I will appreciate any postcard you send me, but please, please, please no advert cards, no home-printed and NO cards in envelopes (I like stamps on the cards - seriously because I don't keep the envelopes and cards without stamps are disappointing to me). If you send me a card with just the ID on it and can't be bothered to write a message on it then I wont be bothered to register it. I thought Postcrossing was more than just rubbish free advertising cards with no messages coming through your letter box. I would like it if you could date your card and perhaps tell me what your favourite food is and who is your favourite author, I'm always looking for new books to read. Do you have any funny/interesting facts about where you live?
Love life and stay happy! It's good to smile :)
