My name is Shannon. I am a 22-year-old woman from a small town in the southern peninsula of Michigan, USA.

I am a full time student finishing a degree in Writing and a degree in Psychology. I'm not sure what I would like to do for a living, but I do like helping people and being creative.

I enjoy: reading, writing, philosophy, culture, nature & gardening, cooking, my cats and dog, collecting good luck charms, and video games. When I have the money I like to shop, go to the movies, and go out for dinner. I recently learned how to knit, so I've been spending a lot of time knitting.

I would *love* to receive these postcards:

-Famous writers
-Flowers, foliage plants, trees
-Butterflies
-Elephants, Ladybugs, or other symbols of good luck (Especially symbols unique to your country or heritage!)
-Peanuts (Snoopy, Woodstock, Linus, etc.)
-Scenes or attractions from your town, state, or country
-Funny (I appreciate almost all kinds of humor)
-Cute (Cats, Dogs, other cute animals or things)
- Cards related to knitting (yarn, cats playing with yarn, sheep, knitters, etc.)

BUT you can send me any kind of postcard you would like to send me! : )

If you have a scanner and wouldn't mind uploading a picture of the card you send me, I would appreciate it very much. If not, I will take a picture of your card and be sure to upload it. : )

I know how to read hiragana and katakana, so if you are native Japanese or know Japanese language feel free to write with Japanese characters. I'm not so good with kanji, though...
