Hello dear postcrossers!

I'm Silvia from Brazil. Retired, 60 years old, living in a small town with my husband Jan (from Czech Republic) and 6 cats. I have an adult son from my first marriage, but he doesn't live with us anymore. Some of my hobbies are reading (crime novels are my favorite), gardening, watching the news and series, singing in a chorus, coffee and winter tea, cooking and drinking a glass of wine with Jan, playing with our cats, etc. Traveling is also a passion, but I wish I could travel much more. Now we have a diabetic cat, and he needs our attention and medication twice a day, so, it is almost impossible for both of us to leave the town. Jan and I are vegetarian. We love all animals, and we prefer them alive and living free. We feed stray cats in our garage and hummingbirds and bats in our backyard every day.
I live a simple life, and my only extravagance is liking good perfumes.
If you like crime novels, you can tell me who is your favorite author or book. Also if you have pets, I would love to know a bit about them.
I have only visited 2 countries in a great way: Czech Republic (many times) and Finland (2 times - 3 weeks and 3 days). Also visited Wien and Bratislava (one day trip), and Paris and London (5 days each one). I wish I was younger, to have a chance to visit many more places in this world.

In addition to postcards, I am starting to collect stamps (from Russia, China, lighthouses, animals, trees, ships, hot balloons, mushrooms, etc.) and stickers → I would love if you send me some, if you send me an envelope.

And my last "request"... Please, do not write hate speech on postcards. I love politics, but not here. Postcrossing is a place to exchange positive, affectionate messages. Hate breeds hate, and that hurts me a lot here.
