Hi! My name is Katie. I am a 16 year old girl from Texas, and I love sending and recieving all sorts of mail.

I am a writer of short stories and poetry, and I am currently working on my first novel. It's a fantasy story involving talking cats.

I am seriously considering going into archaeology as a carear. (Any advice you can give, or just anything to do with this would be greatly appreciated!!!)

I'm interested in a lot of things like crafts, art, reading, writing, collecting things, languages, mythology, aincent civilazations, swapping, and computer.

I love languages and right now I'm taking Spanish 2 in school. I am also trying to learn Latin on my own and plan to learn as many more languages as I can. (I also know a bit of Morse Code, but I need to practice it more...)

I like all postcards that appear in my mailbox, but my absolute favorite kinds to recieve are: cats, squirrls, old buildings or ruins, falcons or eagles, sparrows, any card to do with writing or books or authors, "The Mosquito is the state(country?) bird" cards (I have Louisiana already...), science fiction or fantasy of any sort, and ones that you think will inspire me with my writing. (I really like plain tourist-type cards too. :)

If you can't think of anything to write, here are some ideas:
--Tell me some intresting names you've heard or made up or whatever.
--Write about your favourite place.
--Just a quote or two that you find interesting.
--Why did you pick that particular card???
--Write something in your language for me! (Anything you want, and please add a translation in English for me!)
