About Silent-Snail...
I'm Vietnamese, studying children's literature and linguistics in Germany.
Collecting postcards is one of my reasons for being.
I don't want to make you go bankrupt because of purchasing new postcards perpetually, every kind of postcards, which you can find at home, will be fine. I believe in your choice and appreciate all postcards sent to me. (^.^)
However, these kinds of postcards will make me particularly happy:
-Postcards like the ones in my Favorites
-Mail Art, Etegami, Posta Collect, Map cards
-B&W photos of classic celebrities
-Pictures of Tea, Coffee, Food
-Hot-Air Balloons, Blue sky
-Peaceful Countrysides or Gardens
-All related to the Sea
-Natural phenomenons
-Lomo pictures, polaroid pictures
-Crazy or Vintage-looking things
-Antique Botanical prints
-Winnie-the-Pooh (only the Classic pictures)
-Ghibli's films
-Illustrations of Children's Books, which are beloved in your country
To postcrossers in the Netherlands and Finland: I'm now crazily collecting illustrations from "Jip en Janneke", Miffy (Netherlands), Moomins, Angry Birds and Mauri Kunnas' illustrations (Finland). Thanks a lot! (It's not a must-do, if you don't have these postcards at home or you would like to suggest other better alternatives.)
Postcards in English, German and Vietnamese are warmly welcomed. Besides, I'm learning Chinese and Japanese now, in case you prefer these two languages, it'll be a great occasion for me to improve my language skills. You can also write some easy greeting phrases in your own language. I'm keen on foreign languages.

I now have a lot of beautiful postcards of "Bunny suicides", Hello Kitty, Shaun The Sheep, Van Gogh's, Klimt's, Carl Larsson's paintings, Art Nouveau, Beatrix Potter's illustrations and Max- the Mole (Symbolic figure of Deutsche Bahn- the German national railway company). If they are what you're looking for, we could swap.
