About Shokora...

I'm a 18-year-old girl, living in a small village called Littoinen. It's situated around the Lake Littoinen and it has about 3000 inhabitants. However, my life is soon going through a major change as I'm moving to Boston, MA in August 2010 for a year. It's exciting!

My studies take a lot of my time but I don't really mind since I'm studying all the nice subjects. ;) I'm very interested in psychology and I love languages (so it's no surprise that my majors are Psychology and English). When I have freetime, I love to read books, watch movies, play piano - and of course send postcards. I also find baking & cooking very relaxing - which is why I'm interested in food/recipe related postcards.

I love making new friends and finding out about other countries and cultures and that's why I think postcrossing is great, combining those two. :)
