About Herma...

I used to travel a lot when I was a member of Scouting (Girl Guides/Girl Scouts). I joined many international camps & Jamborees in different countries and met many scouts from all over the world. Now that I am older and grey I left the organisation. With Postcrossing I found this new possibillity of meeting foreign people!

Look at my website to see what I do for a living: www.kraancrea.nl. Letters and stones are my daily toys! I am a stonemason (tombstones) as wel as a writer.

I have some special wishes for postcards (if you can find these):

- flag of your country
- a card that has to do with Scouting in your country
- an alphabet or single letter, a word or little rhyme
- a stoney beach in your country (if there are any)
- graves or cemetary

- any old (children's)postcard (1890-1960)

- any postcard that you think I should get
- village- or townview of the place you live

Please no double cards or cards in an envelope!

I am a mother of 3. They all have inherited my Scouting-tic. I am a grandma of a little girl and 2 little boys with orange coloured hair, so cute, but I do not feel as "old" as I am......
Many more fields of interest but the story so far will do, I think.
