About Sergey...

Hi, my name's Sergey and I'm 28 y.o. civil engineer.

I love my beautiful city, my job, my electric guitar, Thomas Pynchon and books about architecture.
But in my soul I live like a rolling stone.

I think that postсrossing is a brilliant idea for the real, "old school" communication in our email era. It's a new frontier in the completely new, "surprise" cross-country communication with exchanging cards & collecting stamps.
Second great gift of web after Wikipedia!

Here are some things you could write about:

- Yourself
- Your town, city, country
- A story about the image on your postcard
- Something written in your native language
- A translation of something in your native language

I'd be happy to receive from you any art/conceptual/metaphorical postcard, card with any book illustrations, photos of azulejo, maiolica, stained glass, art Nouveau elements (in art, architecture), details of any complicated mechanism (like a gears in wathes), labyrinths...

Architectural landmarks of your city or country is also very interesting for me, especially in art nouveau, art deco, gothic or national style. Maybe your card will be my inspiration to visit those places someday.

I also like to receive cards with vintage advertisements. For example:

● Affiches from Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Jules Cheret, Théophile-Alexandre Steinlen
● Affiches in the style of Art Nouveau (like Mucha, Livemont and Cheret)
● Other retro/vintage advertisements of companies/ brands/products/countries/cities
● Andy Warhol-related cards would be nice too

And of course, if I get any vintage card from you - you made my day!

I'm not a stamp collector, but It's great, when the stamp somehow related to the theme of card.

Please surprise me & thank you so much!

Happy postcrossing!

P.S.

If possible, don't send me:
● a postcard in envelope
● a postcard larger than standard (9x14cm or 10.5x15cm)
