About Sonnie...
Hi! You've drawn my profile! And that's just fantastic!
I'm Sonnie, very pleased to meet you :)
I'm a sophomore student at Saint Petersburg State University majoring in cinema. But apart from that I am a photographer, traveler and occasional screenwriter. I also like learning languages (and I even used to major in linguistics) so it's a very good idea to write to me in something besides English and Russian.
As you can see, I am trying to collect written and stamped postcards from as many different states as possible and that is why I prefer them to be sent from the country of origin. So far I have received cards from 51 countries. Here's my blog with all of them: http://imissthewalls.tumblr.com/ although i haven't updated it in a while.
- My wishlist -
paintings & creative photography;
cocktails, tea & coffee;
maps (esp. the old ones);
street photography and photographs of European streets (esp. old towns);
Asian interiors;
squirrels (aka my mascot);

dolmens, fjords, night foggy views, stars & planets;
Easter Island, Britain;
NYC, LA, Vegas and San Fransisco, New Orleans;
HBO's True Blood related (team Eric, 'course);
Doctor Who... (I'd say the Doctor #10 era);
'The very hungry caterpillar';
How to be British (get around in English) series;

...but, hey, these are just suggestions. chances are you'll pick just the right card! :)

Also I've been collecting the translations of the following sentence into different languages and dialects:
'Bring me the guitar that is hanging on the wall!'
I have it translated into French, Norwegian, Estonian, Greek, Polish, Finnish, German and Lithuanian.
Take a look: http://tiny.cc/ybp66
And if you want to help out, go ahead!

Happy postcrossing!
