Having retired from 34 years of government service, I spend my time reading, gardening, traveling, and working as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, doing bookkeeping for a ReStore, writing grant requests, handling public relations, and working on a Women's Crew building houses. My husband shares my hobbies, and we're both avid birders as well as artists. In July of 2009 we traveled to the Baltic, where we visited the Scandinavian countries, as well as Germany, Estonia, and Russia. 2010 brought a trip through Switzerland and Italy that was fascinating. 2011 found us in Quebec Province - a driving vacation, and now in the spring of 2012 we have just returned from a week in beautiful Amsterdam. Finding Postcrossing couldn't have come at a better time. I've been collecting postcards for the past 30 years...
My favorite postcards are those depicting the area of the country or part of the world you're from; if a clock features somewhere, I would greatly appreciate a postcard showing a clock.
