Hello world,
my name is Sandra, I’m 19 years old and I live in a small town in Austria but I study in Linz, Austria's third biggest city. I’m very interested in political and social topics, Astronomy, History, Geography, Languages, Books (e.g. Joanne Rowling, Jane Austen, Astrid Lindgren, Morton Rhue…) and Music of course. Some of my favorite artists are Muse, 30 Seconds to Mars, Bob Marley, Coldplay, The Fray, The Frames, Pink, etc.
I also love to travel, I’ve been around Austria of course, but also in Sweden (Stockholm) and Tanzania, where I worked and travelled around last summer. I got the idea for my profile name Sana from a little boy there in the village Omurushaka, because he couldn't say my name... =)
I’ve always wanted to see many different places around the globe, and while I have to stay in Austria, postcards travel for me, this is why I’ve been collecting postcards ever since I was a child.
This is my wishlist for postcards:
*Nice aerial single views of landscapes or cities (also multiview, but single views preferred), you can always check my favorites if you want.
*I like it when the name of the city/place/country is on the front side of the card. Also 'greetings from ... -postcards' are fine. (But not necessarily of course)
*For postcrossers from Finland: Could you please send me card with a view of a real place, something I can look up on a map - I already have loads of postcards with anonymous lakes and places... Thanks!
*For postcrossers from the US: I'm trying to get a card from each state, these are missing in my collection: North Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Alabama, West Virginia, Delaware, New Jersey, Connecticut and Rhode Island! In case you have a cityview or landscape postcard of one of those states lying around: I'd love to get it! But any other state is fine as well of course.
*Please, NO Easter/Christmas cards, ad cards, or cards with flowers, animals or stuff like that... Thanks!
*If you don't know what to write, I'd love to read something about your impression of Austria - what do people in your country associate with Austria?
If anyone is interested in a swap (also with more than one postcard or long-term swaps) feel free to ask, I always love to do swaps! I can offer you for example cards from Vienna, Salzkammergut and the UNESCO WH-Site of Hallstatt/Dachstein. Check my sent postcards!
