About Bob...

Hi,

I live in Washington State (not to be confused with Washington DC). I studied International Relations in school and now I work for the government. The best part of my job is meeting people from every part of the world.

I was born in Virginia and I have lived in Hawaii, Maryland, Germany, UK and Washington State; and now have friends from all over. I would like to travel the world more. Some of my favorite places I've visited are Spain, Canada, Korea, Czech Republic and Italy. My favorite cities are Paris, Soul, London and Annapolis. My favorite activity when I go somewhere new is eat and drink. My favorite foods are crabs, fish, shellfish, fried chicken, all vegetables, pizza, sushi, BBQ, Hawaiian food and German food.

In my spare time I like to hike, swim, scuba dive, travel, read, meet new people, try new food and beer, go geocaching, BBQ, play Nintendo Wii, watch baseball, watch football (NFL), go to concerts and festivals, play drinking games, cards or board games, work on my house and yard, and go to the beach and the movies. I like any activity that takes place outside.

I have a dog, a dachshund named Chainsaw. My favorite singer in Bob Marley. My favorite book is One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

I collect old postcards and postcards from places I've been. I like postcards from anywhere, especially places that are exotic, hidden, overlooked or forgotten, postcards of the outdoors, unique images, sports stadiums, related to soccer (football) or other sports, food, pretty girls, boats and waterfronts. I don't really like free cards unless they're for a cause.

If you don't know what to write you can tell me how your week is going, teach me how to say a little something in you country’s language, tell me what you like to eat, or you can write anything you want. You can write in your own language if you are more comfortable, I'll figure it out.

***If you are from The Netherlands, I'd really like a POSTCROSSING STAMP, thanks***

Thank you for reading.
