I was born in 1966, I am a mother of two little boys (postcrossers, too). I live in an old, renovated farmhouse (without farming :D) with my husband and sons in Orivesi, near Tampere. It's a lovely rural area, with lakes, fields and forests.
My hobbies are gardening & flowers (I collect pelargoniums), literature & reading, history, genealogy, among others ;-)
All cards are very welcome, here's some themes I am fond of, too:
- children's book illustrations (or any pretty illustration from a story book or otherwise) or characters
- books :) reading, bookshelves
- old maps
- windows and/or doors!
- old-fashioned advertisements
- drawings, pretty pictures & art ;)
- calligraphy, old scripts, fancy texts
- gardening themes, pelargoniums, roses, cottage garden, also illustrated
- red/ burgundy/ brown -coloured cards
- period dresses (like renaissance, medieval, Victorian, etc.) and shoes
As you can see, I like lots of different cards... I hope these tips make your choice easier! But I am not picky, :D ,just to give some tips! I would be happy of any kind of card (well, maybe not an ad-card, though).
