I signed up for Postcrossing because I think it can be a great learning tool for my (almost) three year old son, Ryder. I think this will be great for my whole family to learn about new places, cultures and ways of life (and get some pretty mail too! LOL)
As a family, we enjoy spending time together, feeding the birds by the lake, and holidays together. Ryder's favorite holidays are Halloween and Christmas and his birthday is December 20th. (He'll be 3 this year, 2009. So if you'd like to send birthday wishes for him, he'd get a kick out of that!)
We'd love postcards showing where you live, your culture, things that are important to you, animals native to your area, etc, but all postcards are welcome. Please include a few words about yourself, the area you live in or something that we might not know about your culture. :) Like I said, I'm using this as a tool to teach my son about other countries and cultures.
