WHO AM I?

My name is Ryanne, I'm 26 for years old and I teach English at a secondary school. Some of the things I do in my spare time are cooking, reading, taking long walks, climbing, other sports (steps, aerobics, spinning, etc.), hanging out with my friends/boyfriend, I like crocheting and I take sowing classes.

WHICH CARD TO SEND?

I'll be happy with ANY card I'm sent, as long as the sender has put care and thought into choosing/making it.

If you really don't have a clue what to send, these are some of my preferences.

*I'd love to receive one of the cards from my favourites, or...

*...For the German postcrossers among us: I really like the Mainzelmännchen.
*Fantasy/fairytale drawings (trolls, unicorns, leprechauns, elves, etc.)
*The Gruffalo/Der Grüffelo by Axel Scheffler&Julia Donaldson
*Vintage cards
*Old-fashioned drawings/pictures
*Children's books' drawings
*Cards with old books on them
*Handmade cards (as long as you've put thought and care into it)
*Cards having to do with mythology (I took Latin and Greek at secondary school)
*For the Finish people among us: I've recently discovered Kaj Stenvall's work, so his cards are very welcome, too.
*Map cards
*Cards that YOU'd really like to get (and I'd like to know why you like them, of course)
*Colourful cards
*Anything that's typical for your country (I'm not particularly keen on real tourist cards but I do like typical architecture, clothing, food, art, etc.)
*Strange/unusual cards that you like, but you're afraid to send to anyone (as long as they're not pornographic).

WHAT TO WRITE?

I'd like you to tell me something about you: your life, your dreams and ambitions, your thoughts, etc.
If you don't know what to write:
*Write some text in your own language (for example a nursery rhyme). Don't forget to translate it for me, please!
*I'd like to know where you got the card from AND why you chose this particular card.
*I love cooking, so your favourite recipe (preferably typical for your culture) would be great, too!

Please don't forget to add the date and where you're from.
