About Matthias...

Hi everybody around the world,

I'm 40 and I´m living in the beautiful south of germany; earn my money by working at the customs and I love this life (we have just this one, let´s get the best out of it). Sometimes hopelessly optimistic and little bit chaotic, but always friendly and open.

I like sports, reading, music, good movies and I simply love travelling. There are so many places to see.
I just love the idea of postcrossing, and who knows, maybe it´s possible to receive at least one card from every country of the world (almost impossible, but - hey, what´s the world when there´s nothing to dream about?)

I like postcards with pictures of sights of your town or country, railways or planes on it or simply funny or weird pictures, as well as these ones: https://www.postallove.com/Postcards/Greetings-from

Christmas, New Year or Birthday card? Of course, I appreciate them very much when it´s the time.

By the way - I'd really love to find Grumpy cat in my postbox. If you can find one, just send it to me and you saved my day.

It would be nice to write something in your mother tongue (with an english translation would be great).

What to write? Well, maybe just something about everyday life in your place. There are so many places in this world we'll never be going to see, so this is an opportunity to get an impression of the world.
You have a place you think I should see when I visit your town? Something delicious I definitely have to try? Or something else you would like to share? Just recommend it. I always like new proposals for my next holidays.

If you´re from Japan, you would make me really, really happy with a gotochi card.

One favourite quote of mine is: A stranger is a friend which you haven't met yet. So always keep a smile for him.

Have a wonderful time out there wherever you are. Happy postcrossing. And give every day the possibility to become the best one you ever had.

Direct swaps are always welcome.

Expired?
yes, too many

PS:
When you are going to send a postcard to me, just take a look at this site www.sendkidstheworld.com and maybe you can also send a card to one of the sick children to brighten their day.
I also hope you can copy this website on your profile to let more people know this!
Thank you so much for doing this.

Just received card RU-4135063 (travelled more than one year, so can't be registered). Thank you for your card, Anna.
