About Rebecca...

Hi, my name is Rebecca. I'm twenty-one and currently a senior at Flagler College in America's "Oldest City," St. Augustine, Florida. I'm a double major in history and psychology, and hope to study clinical psychology in graduate school.
I have collected postcards from where I travel since I was fourteen. However, I've never been outside the United States, so my collection is still pretty limited. I dream of going to Europe more than anything, but in the meantime, I would love postcards of cities, buildings, landscapes, scenery, landmarks, or vintage city images so I can add to my list of places I long to visit. I would love to hear a little about your town and what you like to do there that you can't do anywhere else!
Aussi, si vous parlez français, écrivez la carte postale en français, s'il vous plaît! J'ai besoin de practique!

*Some random facts about me, in case we have things in common!*
I've been a strict vegetarian for five years.
I have a male pomeranian named Pippin, after the hobbit.
My favorite books are Pride and Prejudice, Slaughterhouse-Five, and Harry Potter, of course!
My favorite music to listen to is Classic Rock, especially Led Zeppelin and The Beatles. Though lately I am really into indie-folk and bluegrass.
My favorite movies are Pride and Prejudice (2005), Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Love Actually, Lord of the Rings, and The Lion King.
My favorite TV shows are How I Met Your Mother, Monty Python's Flying Circus, and Doctor Who (My favorite Doctor is David Tennant).
History-wise, my favorite things to study are the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, and the American and French Revolutions in particular, as well as WWII. I also really love art history, especially post-medieval through expressionism.
My dream graduate school is the University of Sussex in England. (I'm a bit of an anglophile)
I want to take a year off after I graduate to go teach English in South Korea.
I enjoy screenwriting, being out of doors, zumba, and themed costume parties.
