We are a home-educating family of 5. Our children are 10, 8 and 6.
We signed up to Postcrossing as a fun and exciting way to learn about different countries and cultures.
Every card will be gratefully received and registered, but if you are looking for some ideas of what to send to us...
We would love to receive any card that shows us something about the country or area that you live in. Some ideas are scenery, maps, local wildlife, food, buildings, or anything else...
Basically any card that will inspire an interesting discussion would be perfect, whether that is because of the picture on the front or what you write on the back.
If you are currently celebrating any festival, we would also love to see and hear about that.
We are sad (and amazed) not to have received a card from the USA yet. If you draw our name and are from the USA, we would love a state map card from your state.
Update! 24 April 2010, our 49th received card and finally the wait is over for a US one! It was worth the wait :D Keep them coming!
We also welcome UNESCO cards. If you send us a UNESCO card, please tell us it is one in your message in case we don't recognise it as one.
