Hello from New Zealand! I have enjoyed the art of letter writing since I was a child and love collecting postcards so this is the perfect way to continue my hobby :o). I have been married for 24 years and we live in a small country town at the top of New Zealand's South Island. We have 2 cats named Spencer and Jackson. Some of my other interests include animals, music, travel, stamps, the Amercian West to name a few. I like to watch old TV shows on occasion with my favourites being "Murder, She Wrote" and "MacGyver" from the 80's and 90's. I like most postcards, however, I am not keen on art cards, statues, weird unattractive cards, ugly cement buildings, vases, masks etc so please save them for people who will appreciate them. I tend to like pretty, happy cards with my favourites being:
*Pretty, happy, cute "Christmas" postcards (all year round)
*Reindeer
*Santa
*Christmas villages
*Thomas Kinkade Christmas/winter villages (I LOVE these)
*Scenic landscapes,
*Famous tourist attractions and landmarks,
*National Parks (especially USA and Canada)
*Canyons,
*Mountains, Lakes
*Towns & Cities (only cards that make you want to visit them)
*Animals & Birds (especially cats, dogs, horses, cows, wolves,
bears, moose, elk, Northern Cardinal, Red Robin, Blue Birds)
*Wildlife
*Disney,
*Snoopy,
*Route 66,
*American West
*Mount Rushmore,
*Map and Recipe cards
*U.S.A. State Map cards especially with your State bird and
flower on them if possible (a new interest)
*Older TV shows
*The Rat Pack
*Classic Hollywood Legends from the 30's 40's 50's 60's
*Angela Lansbury, Cary Grant, John Wayne etc.
*Richard Dean Anderson (MacGyver TV series)
*Winter Wonderlands to name a few...
*And to my FINNISH friends I would love to see some snowy scenes showing the beautiful Husky dog, reindeer, animals, Santa's workshop, Christmas villages, Lapland or something you might think I would like, thank you!
*To my friends in the U.K. I am keen to receive (if possible) a snowy or Christmas postcard featuring a red letterbox that seems to appear on many Christmas greeting cards. :o)
*To my friends in CHINA a Panda Bear postcard would be great but if this isn't possible maybe other animals, pretty scenery or city, cute cards or Great Wall of China! No buildings/stadiums please.
*To my friends in Russia I would love a postcard of Tsar Nicholas II and his family :o)
PLEASE no Art, Ad or Free cards unless they relate to my "wish" list thanks :o)
PLEASE no ugly cement buildings, statues, vases etc.

I look forward to "meeting" friends through my mailbox from around the world and I also thank the postcrossers who are able to scan their card as I am not able to do this myself at the moment.
