Hello

I'm Rachel. I've just moved to Retford and am settling in although there are a lot of boxes to unpack!

I'm feeling a little old here as most of my recent cards have been to people a fair bit younger than me. I love swapping cards and think that's something you can do at any age.

I have two small Chihuahua dogs, Charlie and Barney. I also have two degus, a girl called Jack and a boy called Sammy. I'm interested to know if you have any pets.

I have rapidly evolving severe relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis. It's not as bad as it sounds but can be very frustrating at times. Fatigue can hit me quite badly, I do sleep a lot because of it. Other times if it's not so bad I use that time to write my cards. I find that relaxing too.

I enjoy most films, rom-coms, thriller, sci-fi, mystery but not really gory horror. I like the actors Richard Armitage and Gerrard Butler.

I read a lot, I have a kindle and download lots of books. I don't particularly have a favourite author, I enjoy thrillers and mysteries, historical fiction and autobiographies, and a lot of other books. If I'm reading a book but not enjoying it I'll stop reading it and start reading another. I don't see the point in carrying on with something if I'm not enjoying it.

I love taking photos, especially when I'm out walking. Birds and animals are great to photo, and there is some lovely countryside in England. I enjoy drawing and painting though I'm not very good at either! What hobbies do you enjoy?

Not all postcards in my favourites are postcards I have sent or received, but just ones I think are beautiful.

I enjoy postcards with pictures of nature, especially animals. I really love foxes and horses. I also like birds, big cats, any safari type animal....any animal really, the more colourful the better.

I enjoy poppies, the colours can be so vibrant. Cards with poppies on are beautiful

I love art with lots of colour, but most types of card would make me very happy. I don't really like anime or handmade cards or washe tape. Thank you.
