Hi! I'm Karen, I'm 25, I have a bachelors degree in German and want to go back to school to get a foreign education degree to teach German. I own 3 ferrets; they're hyper, curious, and crazy and I love them for it. I like hiking, kayaking, bike riding, playing Xbox (my favorite games are Halo, Final Fantasy XII, and Fallout 3/New Vegas), watching soccer (Bayern Munich is my favorite team, followed by FC Köln), watching pretty much every movie I can get my hands on and listening to tons of music. I also love reading, right now I'm working my way though Carson McCullers' "the heart is a lonely hunter" and loving it. I'm a total geek for languages, I find pretty much every language in the world fascinating and wish I could speak them all, I'm debating learning Dutch right now. Most of all though, I love to travel!
I'm not picky, but if you happen to have a postcard of either a squirrel or a ferret/weasel you'll make my year. ;) And of course I love postcards from wherever you live but I'm really happy to receive absolutely anything including handmade. If you're stuck on what to write me, I'd love to hear about your country, any awesome dreams you've had, the best day you've ever had or favorite place you've ever gone.
