I am 41 years old, married, with two daughters, 4 and 2 years old. I enjoy cooking, birdwatching, and collecting stamps. I also love knitting, and spinning my own yarn. In fact, I love anything to do with fibers, textiles and crafts. I also do a little bookcrossing, and WheresGeorge.com. Currently, I am teaching myself Esperanto.
I work as a chemist, doing research at a pharmaceutical company. I've been doing this for 18 years, and although it can get discouraging (after all, research is a career based on failure!), it is also very rewarding to know my children's generation will benefit from my work.
